We are looking for a Coordinator, Key Accounts to support the day-to-day operations of our National Accounts. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless execution of customer requirements and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

 

  • Prepare reports as required (e.g., service level, vendor loyalty, cost change, sales)
  • Coordinate promotional activity (e.g., costing, forecasting, allocation tables)
  • Manage issue logs for respective accounts
  • Maintain listings and assortments
  • Serve as the key contact for all accounts (excluding credit and delivery issues unless unresolved)
  • Conduct store visits to identify development opportunities and strengthen customer relationships
  • Monitor service levels and recommend improvements to drive sales and performance
  • Complete cost change files where applicable
  • Prepare communications (e.g., new listings/de-listings)
  • Attend quarterly meetings with key accounts to review category performance and growth opportunities
  • Collaborate regularly with buying and category management teams on promotions, forecasts, and distress inventory
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with stores
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards

What you have to offer:

 

  • Post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in retail or customer-facing roles
  • Strong background in merchandising or retail operations
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of SAP and EXE systems preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships across teams and with external partners
  • Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset as the candidate will be expected to collaborate with peers in other provinces and provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
