The Director of Operations, E-Commerce Vaughan Fulfillment Center will provide strategic and operational leadership for a highly automated, live-production fulfillment center, with full accountability for site performance, customer experience, operational excellence, and financial results.  The Director will foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, employee engagement, health and food safety compliance, and scalable operational excellence while ensuring the fulfillment center consistently delivers against e-commerce growth and profitability objectives.

As Director of Operations, E-Commerce – Vaughan Fulfillment Center, you’ll lead one of our most advanced, high-volume automated sites at the heart of our e-commerce business. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you’ll shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and deliver an exceptional customer experience, all while owning full site performance and financial results.

As the Director of Operations, you will:

Driving Operational Excellence

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a state-of-the-art fulfillment center
  • Own site performance, including P&L accountability, to deliver on e-commerce growth and profitability targets
  • Leverage advanced warehouse management systems (Ocado) to optimize product availability, accuracy, freshness, and waste reduction
  • Continuously improve performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people metrics
  • Partner with forecasting, replenishment, and delivery teams to maximize site capacity and dock utilization
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and process integrity while driving cross-functional alignment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Planning, IT, HR, Finance, Service Delivery, and Customer Experience to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards

What you have to offer:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or E-Commerce/Retail operations
  • Proven success managing fulfillment center operations and full P&L accountability
  • Cross-functional expertise across areas such as Replenishment, Transportation, Planning, or Strategy
  • Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience delivering complex projects on time and on budget
  • Experience in fresh or food environments is an asset, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Finance, or Economics.

The salary range for this position is $122,206.00 - $168,000.00. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
